I'm bored.

Journal Entry: Sun Jul 20, 2008, 12:14 AM
Not really monday

The worst thing about having A LOT of holidays is not having anything to do. Well.. I do have stuff to do, but being bored beats doing it.

I'm scouring the web for royalty-free samples I could use to make (or not) repetitive (or not) music (or not) of some sort (or not).
I'm also working on some poetry.. I'm thinking about maybe trying to publish my poems somehow in print. Any ideas of magazines that take in poetry?
I don't see much of a gain from self publishing a tome of my poems since apart from the very few people who will read this journal, nobody is interested.

If anybody is interested in chatting on msn please send me a note with your address, I'd love to talk.

Hello strange colours,
I think there are quite a lot of poetry competitions open at the moment if you are interested that seem to close at the end of July or in early August. A literary magazine called 'Visible Ink' is seeking submissions for an anthology, with submissions closing on the 31st July. There is a Taronga Foundation Poetry Prize competition where people can have their writing published which closes on the 19th September and there are some other magazines called 'The Claremont Review' and 'Teen Ink' which publish writing by teenagers.
I hope this is useful:D
